Space Coast Ballet Company has collaborated with the Girl Scouts of Citrus!

It's official! The collaboration has been sealed with a handshake. SCBC Board member Loretta Grella and Girl Scouts Program Manager Antonio, shake hands making the collaboration between the two groups official. Karen Wilson, Director of Theatre for Youth Program, was there to witness the event. Welcome to the Space Coast Ballet Company family Girl Scouts of Citrus!

SCBC performer and Girl Scout of Citrus member, Kelsey, was super excited when she heard about the collaboration between the two groups!

Through this partnership, the Girl Scouts of Citrus will receive backstage tours, led by one of our esteem Board members, of all of our productions! They will have sneak peaks of behind the scenes and the opportunity to get up close to the amazing props and scenery! Check out the pictures of the Girl Scouts backstage of our last production, the Nutcracker!

Complimentary Performance Tickets for Students and Families of
Local Title One Schools

As part of SCBC's dedication to the community through the Complimentary Ticket Program for Title 1 Schools, over 400 tickets were offered to students and families in 2018, bringing live theatre to underserved children throughout the Space Coast area. Our performances reach across barriers to build the next generation of audiences for dance and theatre. We are able to provide this gift to Title 1 Schools in Brevard County thanks to private charitable donations from generous corporations, foundations and individuals.

This amazing program uses performing arts to teach diverse young children how to think creatively through imagination, dance and live theatre.

Senior Living Outreach Program

The Space Coast Ballet Company is proud to give back to the senior living community. On a monthly basis, current SCBC performers travel to different facilities in the Space Coast area to bring joy and entertainment to the residents.

Inspiring the Community

Since 2003, SCBC has been building strong community relationships and inspiring young children by promoting personal connections with dance through performances at a variety of events. Dancers of the SCBC have performed at the Brevard Symphony Orchestra's Cultural events, Junior League's Festival of Trees, Barnes and Noble Story Time, Eau Gallie Art Festival, Light Up Viera Annual Christmas Parade, Back to School Mall events, Movie Premiers and school events. Dancers have also supported local charities such as the Women's Center and Nana's House, by performing at their fundraiser events.
